Self-love takes many forms. Certainly it can be narcissistic and self-centered. We need to avoid that. But it can also be completely appropriate. Completely necessary. Caring for your body means giving your body the fuel, nutrients, rest, and spiritual support it needs to serve you well, care for your family, and be available for God to use. It means eating healthy foods, getting enough sleep, moving regularly and with purpose, and incorporating prayer, meditation, and spiritual “food” too. How will you love yourself today?
