Are you caught up in the fray of the holidays? Feeling like the fun is passing you by or overcommitted with too many things on your calendar? Struggling with too much hurry? Oh, girlfriends, I know just how you feel. I’ve had that experience more years that I’d like to admit. But I’m trying really hard to slow down. Slowing down is a good thing. It’s an important thing. It’s a necessary thing if you want to create meaningful memories with your friends and family. And for yourself!
In our latest episode, Dee and I talk about some our favorite family traditions and share strategies for slowing down and savoring this season…before it’s gone. The reality is that time goes faster every year. Children are only small for a little while. You can never get back the time lost in the shuffle. The good news is that, for the most part, you get to decide how your time is spent. I want to spend my time doing the things that make the most difference – the most impact – that bring more joy, comfort, peace, and love into my life and the world. It’s a lofty goal, but one that I take really seriously.
This December episode is our Christmas gift to our listeners. We hope you enjoy it and that you share it with a friend! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! xo
